YAX youth artists participated in Teen Takeover! Techno Dreams on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, hosted by Teen Art Connect. Urban, a Music Production alum, DJed and Dalya, a YAX Fashion Design student and Youth Advisory Board member, showcased her designs with her models!

Read MoreValentin Nguyen, a graduating senior now on her way to UCLA, received a $1000 scholarship that the Organization of Women Architects and Design Professionals provides to one graduating female identifying senior from YAX each year. Valentin also received a Congressional Art Award from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her piece “I am a star?”. Her piece “I Want to Afford to Live” also hung in the San Francisco City Hall’s San Francisco Youth Commission exhibit this spring.
